These sessions blended two complementary approaches: trainings led directly by WPDI facilitators and specialized workshops delivered by BNP Paribas and Mieux Entreprendre \/ La Plateforme RH 93. Together, they created a holiday program centered on learning, empowerment, and community connection.<\/p>\n Supporting Entrepreneurs With Practical Business Training<\/strong><\/p>\n Entrepreneurship stood at the heart of this holiday cycle. WPDI coordinated \u201cMy First Recruitment\u201d with Mieux Entreprendre and La Plateforme RH 93, while the workshop itself was delivered by their HR specialists. Their guidance provided entrepreneurs with real-world insight into the process and responsibilities of hiring their first employee. Participants learned how to calculate the financial cost of a first hire, integrate recruitment into their business forecasts, and navigate the responsibilities associated with this milestone. Participants described the session as \u201cvery useful<\/em>\u201d and \u201cvery clear,<\/em>\u201d with one entrepreneur sharing how the discussions helped her understand \u201cthe real responsibility behind hiring someone.<\/em>\u201d Another celebrated the opportunity to learn directly from experienced HR professionals, calling it\u00a0\u201ca rich and valuable experience.<\/em>\u201d<\/p>\n WPDI also offered \u201cIntroduction to Canva for Entrepreneurs,\u201d a hands-on design workshop that introduced participants to Canva as an accessible tool for creating enticing flyers, business cards, digital visuals, and client documents. For many entrepreneurs, this was their first experience with design software. One participant proudly shared that she\u00a0\u201ccreated her first flyer thanks to the workshop<\/em>,\u201d while another explained that he now felt confident producing professional materials for his clients.<\/p>\n Supplementing these sessions, experts from our partner BNP Paribas Group delivered a comprehensive Marketing and Communication Strategy Workshop. Their marketing team worked directly with beneficiaries, guiding them through market analysis, client engagement, and strategic communication priorities. Participants were impressed by the mentorship they received, describing the BNP Paribas team as \u201cattentive, experienced, and fully invested in helping us grow.<\/em>\u201d One entrepreneur noted that the two-hour workshop \u201cwent by far too quickly<\/em>\u201d and hoped it would be offered again.<\/p>\n Helping Participants Build Public Speaking and Communication Skills<\/strong><\/p>\n WPDI\u2019s Public Speaking Workshop offered a safe and interactive space for participants to practice speaking with confidence through games, group activities, and guided exercises. The session emphasized the importance of trust, inclusion, and self-expression.<\/p>\n Participants highlighted how welcome they felt: one explained that she sensed \u201ctrue equality and inclusion from beginning to end.<\/em>\u201d At the same time, another described the session as \u201ca very fun moment<\/em>\u201d that helped them feel more self-assured when speaking in front of others.<\/p>\n Strengthening Family Communication Through Dialogue<\/strong><\/p>\n The holiday programming also included workshops dedicated to family well-being. WPDI facilitated a Parent\u2013Child Dialogue Workshop, which helped families practice listening, expressing emotions, and communicating more smoothly at home. Through structured activities and guided conversations, children and parents explored how to understand each other\u2019s needs in healthier, more empathetic ways. Parents shared how meaningful this session was. One mother said her usually shy daughter \u201cfelt safe and opened up more than she normally does<\/em>,\u201d while another explained that hearing from other families helped her \u201cput words to experiences happening at school<\/em>\u201d and feel less alone. Children described the workshop as a moment where they could \u201cexpress themselves freely<\/em>,\u201d leaving with a sense of confidence and connection.<\/p>\n Exploring Emotions Through Film and Conversation<\/strong><\/p>\n To close the holiday cycle, WPDI hosted \u201cCinema & Conversation: Special Emotions Edition,\u201d a film-based workshop where children explored joy, fear, sadness, and anger through storytelling. After watching the film, the group discussed what each emotion means, why all emotions play a role, and how they help us better understand ourselves. The afternoon ended with shared laughter and snacks.<\/p>\n Parents noted how much the workshop resonated at home. One mother shared that her three-year-old son \u201ctalked about the characters for the rest of the day and asked to come back<\/em>.\u201d Older children described the screening as \u201cinteresting, fun, and a great moment with other kids<\/em>,\u201d especially enjoying the warm, welcoming atmosphere.<\/p>\n A Holiday Season Defined by Partnership and Impact<\/strong><\/p>\n This series of workshops demonstrated the power of combining WPDI\u2019s inclusive approach with the technical expertise of committed partners. The contributions of BNP Paribas, Mieux Entreprendre, and La Plateforme RH 93 Plaine Commune ensured that every participant, whether a child, a parent, or an entrepreneur, received high-quality guidance shaped by both professional insight and community-focused learning. Les sessions \u00e9taient soit des formations anim\u00e9es directement par nos formateurs, soit des ateliers sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9s propos\u00e9s par nos partenaires BNP Paribas et Mieux Entreprendre avec La Plateforme RH 93. Ensemble, ils ont cr\u00e9\u00e9 un programme ax\u00e9 sur le d\u00e9veloppement de comp\u00e9tences techniques et socio-\u00e9motionnelles et le renforcement des liens sociaux.<\/p>\n Soutenir les entrepreneurs gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 une formation pratique<\/strong><\/p>\n L\u2019entrepreneuriat \u00e9tait au c\u0153ur de ce cycle de Temps Forts. WPDI a coordonn\u00e9 l\u2019atelier \u201cMon Premier Recrutement\u201d avec Mieux Entreprendre et La Plateforme RH 93, tandis que la s\u00e9ance elle-m\u00eame \u00e9tait anim\u00e9e par leurs sp\u00e9cialistes RH. Leur expertise a permis aux entrepreneurs de comprendre concr\u00e8tement le processus et les responsabilit\u00e9s li\u00e9s \u00e0 l\u2019embauche de leur premier salari\u00e9.<\/p>\n Les participants ont appris \u00e0 calculer le co\u00fbt financier d\u2019une premi\u00e8re embauche, \u00e0 int\u00e9grer le recrutement dans leurs pr\u00e9visions d\u2019activit\u00e9, et \u00e0 naviguer les responsabilit\u00e9s associ\u00e9es \u00e0 cette \u00e9tape importante.<\/p>\n \u201cCet atelier m’a permis d’apprendre de nouvelles choses et de comprendre que le monde du recrutement est tr\u00e8s vaste. Les \u00e9changes m’ont permis de comprendre que l’embauche est une vraie responsabilit\u00e9. Merci !\u201d<\/em> \u2013 Vanessa, participante<\/p>\n WPDI a \u00e9galement propos\u00e9 \u201cCanva pour la communication de mon entreprise\u201d, un atelier pratique de design permettant aux participants de d\u00e9couvrir Canva comme outil accessible pour cr\u00e9er des flyers, cartes de visite, visuels num\u00e9riques et documents destin\u00e9s \u00e0 leurs clients. Pour plusieurs, il s\u2019agissait de leur premi\u00e8re exp\u00e9rience avec un logiciel de design. Sabrina, une participante, a partag\u00e9 fi\u00e8rement qu\u2019elle avait cr\u00e9\u00e9 son premier flyer gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 l\u2019atelier, tandis que Kevin a expliqu\u00e9 se sentir d\u00e9sormais capable de produire des supports professionnels pour sa client\u00e8le.<\/p>\n En compl\u00e9ment, les experts de notre partenaire de BNP Paribas ont anim\u00e9 un atelier complet sur la Strat\u00e9gie Marketing et Communication. Leur \u00e9quipe marketing a travaill\u00e9 directement avec les b\u00e9n\u00e9ficiaires, les guidant \u00e0 travers l\u2019analyse de march\u00e9, l\u2019engagement client et les priorit\u00e9s de communication strat\u00e9gique.<\/p>\n \u201cL’\u00e9quipe marketing de la BNP est sympathique, impliqu\u00e9e, \u00e0 l’\u00e9coute et avec une grande exp\u00e9rience. J’ai pu apprendre et obtenir des r\u00e9ponses \u00e0 mes questions. La s\u00e9ance mettait l\u2019accent sur la confiance, l\u2019inclusion et l\u2019expression personnelle.<\/p>\n \u201cCet atelier a favoris\u00e9 la coh\u00e9sion du groupe et la mise en confiance. J’ai eu la sensation d’\u00e9quit\u00e9, on fait partie du groupe du d\u00e9but \u00e0 la fin, on se sent inclus. L’\u00e9quipe de WPDI a de tr\u00e8s bonnes id\u00e9es et nous sommes <\/em>accueilli<\/em>\u00b7<\/em>es<\/em>\u00a0de fa\u00e7on inconditionnelle avec toutes nos diff\u00e9rences.\u201d<\/em> \u2013 Marie-Dominique, participante.<\/p>\n Renforcer la communication au sein des familles<\/strong><\/p>\n La programmation des Temps Forts incluait \u00e9galement des ateliers d\u00e9di\u00e9s au bien-\u00eatre familial. WPDI a facilit\u00e9 un atelier Dialogue parents-enfants qui a permis aux familles de pratiquer l\u2019\u00e9coute active, l\u2019expression des \u00e9motions et la construction d\u2019un dialogue plus harmonieux en famille. \u00c0 travers des activit\u00e9s structur\u00e9es et des discussions guid\u00e9es, enfants et parents ont explor\u00e9 comment mieux comprendre les besoins de chacun de mani\u00e8re plus saine et empathique.<\/p>\n \u201cJ’ai beaucoup appr\u00e9ci\u00e9 l’atelier parents\/enfants. Ma fille s’est sentie vraiment en s\u00e9curit\u00e9 et a partag\u00e9 beaucoup de v\u00e9cus. D’habitude elle est timide et ne parle pas beaucoup. Je me suis sentie moins seule en voyant que d’autres vivent les m\u00eames choses.<\/em>\u201d \u2013 Fathima, b\u00e9n\u00e9ficiaire et maman<\/p>\n Explorer les \u00e9motions \u00e0 travers le cin\u00e9ma et la discussion<\/strong><\/p>\n Pour cl\u00f4turer le cycle des vacances, WPDI a anim\u00e9 un Cin\u00e9-d\u00e9bat sp\u00e9cial \u00e9motions, un atelier bas\u00e9 sur la projection d\u2019un film d\u2019animation permettant aux enfants d\u2019explorer la joie, la peur, la tristesse et la col\u00e8re \u00e0 travers la narration visuelle. Apr\u00e8s le film, le groupe a discut\u00e9 de la signification de chaque \u00e9motion, du r\u00f4le qu\u2019elles jouent, et de la mani\u00e8re dont elles aident \u00e0 mieux se conna\u00eetre. L\u2019apr\u00e8s-midi s\u2019est termin\u00e9e dans la convivialit\u00e9 autour d\u2019un go\u00fbter.<\/p>\n \u201cC’\u00e9tait un beau moment de partage chez WPDI. J’ai accompagn\u00e9 mon fils de 3 ans lors de la projection et tous les deux nous avons appr\u00e9ci\u00e9 le sujet autour des \u00e9motions. Plus tard, il a essay\u00e9 de raconter ce qu’il a vu et a parl\u00e9 des personnages qui symbolisaient diff\u00e9rentes \u00e9motions. Moment convivial, couronn\u00e9 d’un go\u00fbter.
