As summer draws to a close and we welcome a new season, we\u2019re taking a moment to reflect on the people, partnerships, and progress that have shaped the past months.<\/p>\n

In our Summer Newsletter, you\u2019ll meet Claudia, a traditional embroiderer in Mexico turning her heritage into a growing business, and Awatif, who is helping girls return to school after rebuilding her own life as a refugee in Uganda. You\u2019ll also see how new and renewed partnerships are creating opportunities for communities in South Africa and South Sudan, and hear from our Founder and CEO, Forest Whitaker on what it means to invest in a more peaceful future.<\/p>\n

As we look toward fall, we\u2019re preparing to mark the International Day of Peace on September 21 and bring our global community together just days later for our 2026 Gala,\u00a0Rise As One: Empowering Champions of Peace<\/strong><\/a>, on September 25 in New York City.<\/p>\n
