{"id":5607,"date":"2023-04-12T18:29:02","date_gmt":"2023-04-12T16:29:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.wpdi.org\/?p=5607"},"modified":"2023-04-13T21:44:27","modified_gmt":"2023-04-13T19:44:27","slug":"general-report-2022","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.wpdi.org\/fr\/news\/general-report-2022\/","title":{"rendered":"General Report 2022:  Strengthening the Power of Women and Youths for Lasting Peace And Sustainable Development In Fragile Places"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The WPDI Annual Report 2022 is out, showcasing our key efforts and achievements to empower underprivileged youths and women from vulnerable and conflict-afflicted communities.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Despite the challenges of the COVID-19 crisis, WPDI has become more resilient and recently celebrated empowering 1.5 million people in the past decade.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.wpdi.org\/app\/uploads\/Annual-report-2022-WPDI.png\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-5628 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.wpdi.org\/app\/uploads\/Annual-report-2022-WPDI.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1500\" height=\"750\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.wpdi.org\/app\/uploads\/Annual-report-2022-WPDI.png 1500w, https:\/\/www.wpdi.org\/app\/uploads\/Annual-report-2022-WPDI-250x125.png 250w, https:\/\/www.wpdi.org\/app\/uploads\/Annual-report-2022-WPDI-750x375.png 750w, https:\/\/www.wpdi.org\/app\/uploads\/Annual-report-2022-WPDI-768x384.png 768w, https:\/\/www.wpdi.org\/app\/uploads\/Annual-report-2022-WPDI-120x60.png 120w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1500px) 100vw, 1500px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In 2022, we have reached a turning point with our efforts to mediate conflicts and promote peace:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Our programs have benefited 174,138 people, including direct beneficiaries and participants in peace-building events.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Overall, 50% of WPDI&rsquo;s beneficiaries are women and girls.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Peace Education program was hosted in 206 schools, reaching over 35,000 learners.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We supported 399 businesses, including 163 new ones, as a path to peace and prosperity.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We trained 2,077 community leaders in Conflict Resolution.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Our Sexual and Reproductive Health and Trauma Healing Services benefited 4,944 beneficiaries.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Our 16 Community Learning Centers have over 12,999 trainees, 60% of which are women.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Our programs pursue 12 UN Sustainable Development Goals, and over 32 million people have been sensitized to peace messages through various media platforms.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.wpdi.org\/app\/uploads\/WPDI-General-Report-2022.pdf\">Check out the full report for more information<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"The WPDI Annual Report 2022 is out, showcasing our key efforts and achievements to empower underprivileged youths and women from vulnerable and conflict-afflicted communities.\u00a0 Despite the challenges of the COVID-19 crisis, WPDI has become more resilient and recently celebrated empowering 1.5 million people in the past decade.
